Ferlic Summer Science Research Scholarships

Summary of the Ferlic Summer Research Program

Established in 2006, the Ferlic Summer Research Program was made possible by a generous donation from Dr. Randy Ferlic to support undergraduate science research at Creighton University.  This program provides direct support for fulltime undergraduate science research to be performed during the summer under the direct supervision of a Creighton University faculty member.  Ferlic Scholars receive $3,200 stipends along with additional financial support for research supplies (up to $500).

In the summer of 2012, fourteen students conducted research in the areas of biology, biochemistry, chemistry and physics.  The program continues for its eighth year in summer 2013.
